Cookie policy

No tracking cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or any other cookies that track you across pages or across the web. That is why you will not see a cookie banner asking for your consent: there is nothing of that kind to consent to.

The only cookie the site sets is a session cookie in the editors' admin area, which is used to keep editors signed in while they update recipes. Ordinary visitors never reach that area, so the cookie is not set in your browser when you read our pages.

What is stored in your browser

Two features remember your choices using localStorage, a storage area in your own browser: your choice of light or dark theme and any shopping list you put together from our recipes. This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see it.

Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process technical information such as your IP address to protect the site and serve pages quickly. This is for security and performance, not for tracking or advertising.

How to remove stored data

You can clear your theme setting and shopping list at any time by deleting this site's data in your browser settings, usually found under privacy or site data. Doing so simply resets the theme and empties your list; the recipes will work exactly as before.

Most browsers also let you block or delete storage for individual sites. Blocking it here will not stop the recipes from working; the site will simply forget your theme and shopping list between visits.
